Kia’s New-Car Warranties Make Them an Even Bigger Value

New-Car WarrantiesWe at Kia of North Grand Rapids just wanted to remind you that we not only sell some of the best-looking cars on the road; they’re also among the most reliable, too! That’s why Kia is able to offer warranties that are unsurpassed in the auto industry.

While most brands offer warranties that won’t even last until you pay off your car, Kia offers 5-year, 60,000-mile limited basic coverage and a 10-year, 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. This is far superior to the 3-year, 36,000-mile warranties offered by most competitors.

As you drive down the road in a new Kia, you can do so with confidence, knowing your vehicle is among the safest and most dependable out there – and it’s backed by a corporate warranty that proves they stand behind the cars they sell.

Kia of North Grand Rapids has a huge selection of new Kias, not to mention the best service in town. Stop by today and find out more. You’ll always be greeted with a warm welcome.

Why a “Cheap” Oil Change Isn’t Cheap at All

oil changeIt’s always a great idea to get routine maintenance services performed on your vehicle as recommended by its owner’s manual, such as an oil change. This is perhaps the most important thing you can do to extend the life of your vehicle. It’s often the first instinct of a car owner to take their car to a “quick lube” establishment when the time comes for an oil change. But there are many reasons this is not the way to go, and some are not immediately obvious to car owners.

First, “quick lube” workers are typically hourly employees. They know how to perform an oil change (and maybe another service or two), but they have no clue about your car as a whole. It’s this lack of knowledge that can cause other issues, such as filling your engine with too much (or too little) oil … or the wrong kind of oil. There’s also the chance they could install the filter improperly. Oh, and finally, the brand of oil they use could be inferior to most of today’s major brands.

Having an oil change at Kia of North Grand Rapids is the best way to ensure your vehicle is being cared for by a skilled automotive technician who puts the customer first. And because we know your time is valuable, we offer our by-appointment Service Express Oil & Filter change, which gets you in and out quickly.

Your car is too important for you to cut corners, and Kia of North Grand Rapids has everything in place for you so you don’t have to!

Car and Driver Magazine Loves the Kia Sportspace Concept Car

Kia SportspaceThe folks at Car and Driver magazine have been around for many years, and they know a great car when they see one. They couldn’t help themselves from heaping praise upon the Kia Sportspace Concept.

If you haven’t seen the Sportspace yet, click on the link here and read the full article for yourself. The Kia Sportspace has the shape (and therefore the hauling utility) of a station wagon – but that is where any comparison to a wagon ends! It truly is in a class by itself.

This car is spectacular. If you don’t believe us here at Kia of North Grand Rapids, take it from the people at Car and Driver.

Just like you, we’ll have to wait and see if this becomes a production vehicle. But we have our fingers crossed!

Motor Trend: 2015 Sedona Dominates the Competition

Sedona DominatesFor decades, the minivan has served as the do-everything, hold-everything family hauler. So when the experts at Motor Trend magazine ran the Kia Sedona through its paces and compared it to the competition from Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Chrysler, we took notice.

In the end, the Kia Sedona stood tall, impressing the judges the most. Included among the many positive reviews was this very impressive paragraph: Simply put, the Kia blew the judges away with the amount of technology and content it offers. Not only did the Sedona’s cabin feature Nappa leather and real wood cribbed from the K900 sedan, but it also featured those trick second-row lounge seats, a 360-degree camera system, and collision mitigation technology.

Finally, in announcing the winner, they had this to say: The Kia Sedona … is hands-down the most stylish, comfortable, and best-driving minivan on the road. The Sedona is a value-rich vehicle that its owners are sure to enjoy, whether they’re schlepping to work or down the coast for another fun-filled family vacation.

The new Kia Sedona is available for your inspection and test drive today at Kia of North Grand Rapids. Stop by, take a look, test-drive it, and try to remember it’s not a luxury car.
