Thanks to Kia of North Grand Rapids and the persistence of his grandson, Comstock Park’s Bob Anizsko took home $5,000 this week. He recently received a direct mail piece from us that included a contest with the opportunity to win cash or prizes. “I played the game and it told me I’d won something, but I figured the odds to win anything of consequence were very low … so I let my grandson Caleb have it,” Aniszko said. “I thought that would be the end of it, but Caleb kept telling me we needed to go to Kia of North Grand Rapids to see what we won.”
Aniszko eventually decided to grant Caleb’s request. “He was gone camping with his parents, so my wife, Marilyn, and I went to the dealership,” he said. “We were met in the parking lot by Kari (Kleckler), one of the salespeople. She was very nice. We told her we were there to check our game piece, so we went inside. She took me over to the wall where the winning numbers were posted and announced to me that I’d just won five thousand dollars. Everyone in the showroom – employees and customers – started cheering. The funniest part was that Marilyn had gone a different part of the store to get some coffee, so she wasn’t there when Kari told me. When she came back, everyone told her to sit down because they had exciting news to share.”
With their prize money, Bob and Marilyn will be enjoying new kitchen cabinets and cupboards; and for his heroic efforts, nine-year-old Caleb will get the item of his choice at Toys ‘R Us – a RipStik caster board.
Each year, Strategic Vision surveys thousands of new-car owners in an effort to compile research for their annual Total Quality Impact awards. The 2016 results are in … and the outcome for Kia is impressive, indeed!
Among a survey of nearly 40,000 new-car drivers, Kia finished in a tie for first place in the brands under $26,000 category. Leading the way for Kia were the Sorento and Sedona, which achieved the highest TQI scores in the mid-size CUV and minivan segments (in a tie), respectively.
Alexander Edwards, President of Strategic Vision, had this to say: “Kia’s focus on design and technology has nurtured the belief that customers have in the thoughtfulness and quality of their products. The Total Quality Award winners, and other well-performing models like the Optima, point to the success that Kia has had in this regard.”
Kia continues to stockpile awards for quality, safety and styling … and we haven’t even mentioned their second-to-none warranties! There’s plenty to love about today’s Kia brand; so why not drop by Kia of North Grand Rapids today for a closer look? A warm welcome always awaits you!
